Halloween is coming fast and there is plenty to do to celebrate the Halloween season in the Fargo area. From haunted attractions to pumpkin patches, and Halloween events, you are sure to stay busy and experience the true meaning of spooky season!

Haunted Farm

With over 30 years experience, Haunted Farm in Fargo has been scaring locals in the area. Experience the haunted houses, dark maze, haunted woods, clown room, and more in this genuine farm of terror. This is easily one of the spookiest places in the area and was even featured on the World’s Greatest TV Show previously. Check it out every Friday and Saturday through Halloween from 7pm to 11pm.

Lost in the Valley Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch

Head over to Red River Valley Fair Grounds in West Fargo and check out the areas most popular corn maze & pumpkin patch. What makes this spot unique is its Dazed in the Maze events. These 21+ events hide breweries, wineries, distilleries, and more throughout the maze on certain evenings. 

Paranormal Investigations at Bonanzaville

Hunt for paranormal activity at Bonanzabille. For $55/person you get 90 minutes of investigating. Tickets include EMF detectors, infrared temperature readers, voice boxes, two free drinks, and snacks. If you have your own ghost hunting gear feel free to bring it with you as well! These ghost tours are always a good time and are a great way to experience a little evening haunt!

Great Straw Maze

Take a break from shopping at West Acres Mall and head out to the parking lot to find the Great Straw Maze. This maze is built from over 1,500 straw hay bales and towers 8’ tall. Sitting on just over an acre, you will also find a small pumpkin patch as well as festive photo opportunities. 

Acres of Terror

About 40 minutes outside of Fargo, you will find yourself at one of the most well-known attractions in the region, Acres of Terror. This annual event has over 30 actors to chase you through haunted corn mazes, an old abandoned school, dangerous woods, and more!

Lil’ Bitz Pumpkin Patch

Lil’ Bitz Pumpkin Patch boasts over 25 attractions on site to enjoy. Some of the highlights include a petting zoo, corn maze, and even horse-drawn wagon rides.

Haunted Fort – Mandan

Each year, Fort Abraham Lincoln in Mandan gets transformed into the Haunted Fort. With 5 fear attractions and themed nights, this is sure to be one of the most exciting events in the state of North Dakota. The Darkness Unleashed night is one of the most popular as they turn the lights off in the Haunted Fort and you are guided only by the one glow stick they give you. Papa’s Pumpkin Patch – Bismarck

People drive near and far for the most popular pumpkin patch in the state, Papa’s Pumpkin Patch. This pumpkin patch gets approximately 70,000 visitors a year and has over 25+ different activities to enjoy. Walk through the hay bale maze, play a round of mini golf, play human foosball, and more!

Nelson’s Pumpkin Patch – Emerado

Just outside of Grand Forks, you will find Nelson’s Pumpkin Patch. Painted hay bales will greet you along the road before you arrive. Explore the 10-acre corn maze, hop onto the tractor hay rides, or get a good scare at the Gruesome Granary Haunted House. A-Maze-’N Clown Pumpkin Patch – Jamestown

This pumpkin patch gets its name from the area Shriners group that puts it on and promises fun for all ages. The corn maze and pumpkin patch aren’t all there is to enjoy here. You can check out the combine slide, ninja obstacles, a pumpkin flinger, hay bale mountain, and more!
